Up-date after 3 mid-week road league races.
After June's round of league races, club team results are a mixed bag. At Wollaton Park on 17 June in the Notts AAA league, LERC Senior Men and Women's teams were both placed 7th. Mark Boot's 13th & Gemma Scott's 20th places being the pick of the club's individual results. Good runs from Ian Chant and Rich Howe also, Ian's run helping the Men's vets team into 3rd place on the night, and 3rd after 3 races.
Agegroup-wise, Dave Riley was 2nd V60 on the night, Val Lindsey and Pat Allen were 2nd & 3rd FV65's respectively. All three occupy the same positions in the overall table.
In the Booth's league, also after 3 rounds, Val & Dave both lead their age categories, as do I in the Men's V55's.
Next month's races are back-to-back fixtures on 14th & 15th, at Carsington Water & Worksop College. Both are established venues for the leagues. We especially want to maintain our Men's vets team 3rd place at Worksop.
