The Summer Notts Road Race league had its 5th and final race of the series at Teversal Visitors center and with many on the Prizes still to be decided there was a big turn out from many of the clubs taking part, presentations were also done after the race at the Grange. Long Eaton had a chance at pinching Silver in both the vet mens and Ladies Categories but as it was the teams in the overall standing in the 2nd place already took strong teams to the race and both the Vets mens and Ladies took the Bronze medals Home even though the LERC ladies also took a very strong team and finished in a very good 3rd place on the night, Vets men were 2nd on the night and the senior men were 4th and that’s the finishing position in the overall standing for the Younger Lerecer mens team. There were 5 PBs for the Teversal race along with 2 CBs within the 25 Club Members. Rob Fox was the 2nd MV50 and collected a silver medal. But all the Plaudits were with Sarah Harris who was weighed down with Metal as she took home 2 golds and a bronze for her efforts over the 5 races, She won the overall 1st lady , the 1st v35 lady of course and a bronze for being in the 3rd ladies team.
