Jagermiester 10k

Sarah Harris once again took the honors for the ladies with not only 1st lady home for Long Eaton but also set a new course record in the process of 36:11, and with only 9 men ahead of her it wont be long before she wins a race outright. The undulating route is not really a PB course but that did not stop other LERCERS from getting one, with Givern Wright 37:48, Rich Howe 43:03, Stephane Catelain 48:32, Rich Ferguson 53:11 and Cheryl Brown 51:10 setting new bests for the Jagermiester 6.21 miles. Two new members were running in the blue and white colours Laurn Tully and Vicky Mycroft were not too far from each other with approx 30 secs sepearting them with Laren just ahead of Vicky who ran 53:59. Course Bests were also set by John Hay and Jackie Mather. It was also nice to see Cath Kindred back Racing, and also Paul Lewis, who finished only 4 seconds ahead of Sarah in 9th. A mention for Kev Holland who has done every Jagermiester 10k since it was started about 10 years ago. Well done Kev.
