The 2nd running of this 10k, held at Cotgrave Country Park, over gravel tracks and mainly flat except for the sharp 400m Hill at 5K was a good one for the Charity it was created for. Dogstar raises money to try and eradicate Rabies. The turn out was over 200 runners which was over twice that of last year. The Conditions were good with a sunny day but not too hot. Mens Captain Shaun Burton was the only Long Eatoner who competed and was pleased with his 43:32 (which was 3 mins quicker than last year) and a top 30 Place. Asked imediatly after cossing the finishing line in the Paws10k Dog Charity race, how Shaun felt. "Rough" came the reply! ;-)
