Jagmeister 10k

The 7th running of the Jagmeister 10k, ran over a hilly course round the Notts University campus, was a good one for the Ladies of Long Eaton as they won the Team Prize Sharon Orridge (12th in the race) was 1st Lady and also 1st Back for the Club beating all the Men as well, Cath Kindred and Jodie "the Hills" Smith took 1st place, its becomming a bit of a habit with the ladies taking the 1st place team prize as they have done the same in the last three events that LERC have competed in. The men have got a case of the 2nd's as 2nd is the place they seem to get at the Moment (Which still isnt bad).Kevin Holland had a good race as he has done all 7 jagmeisters and this was his best time for the race, Chris Wood got a new PB, Andy Willescroft ran his 3rd Race for LERC and his 1st 10k and set 45 mins. The First 3 men for LERC were Rob Fox(38:13)17th, Phil Abbott (38:38)19th and Paddy Fitzgerald (39:04) 23rd. The Weather for a Change was dry!! and quite warm. LERC also had a very big contingent of Supporters spuring on the runners which was welcomed.
