Notts 10
The 36th running of this relativly rare distance of 10 miles took place as usual around Holme Pierrepont the Flat, multi lap road route is a good one for a chance to set a new PB but can have strong wind blowing at times. Long Eaton had 6 runners with 3 making a debut and 2 others getting new PBs. 1st back and 24th over all was Mark Boot one of Long Eatons Youngest and Fastest members with a brilliant performance to set a time of below the hour mark with 59:11, Elder Statesman Rob Fox was next in a time of 60:26 with Ian Chant breathing Down Robs neck only 8 seconds behind. Mark Goodson keeping up his good form of late had a new PB of 72:23. Ladies members Jackie Mather and Sam Dixon were making their debuts in the race and both had very good times with Jackie 172nd in a time of 1:15:28 and Sam pleased with her 1:24:06 and 259th.
