Notts 5 road race
On 18th July 2008 25 Long Eaton runners competed in the Notts 5 mile road race, with 15 out of the 25 runners finishing in the top 105. Rob Fox was first home for the club, finishing 13th overall in 28:40. He won two bottles of wine and a rucksack.
New personal best times were achieved by Bill Sheppard (36:23), Ian Williams (37:08), Catherine Rowe (36:33) and Jackie Mather (39:11).
There were debut performances by Matthew Ratliff (47:22), Colette Ratliff (47:23) and Anne Townsend (52:24).
