NMXC Race 4
Race 4 in the Series took place at Wollaton Park and there was a great turnout from the club.
The girls put in a great performance. Sharon Orridge finished 2nd, with Monica Fee finishing 21st, Jodie Smith 49th and Jill Munroe 69th. Despite Sharon only having competited in two of the four races she is currently second vet 40 female overall and fourth senior woman overall.
As for the men, Paul Lewis finished 35th in a time of 39:54. Alan Seamer finished in 40:20, closely followed by Rich Wilkinson in a time of 41:50. Ian Adkin finished in 43:30, with Jaik Pickford finishing in 45:20. Rob Jackson finished in 45:45, followed by Phil Walters in 46:01. Ash Patel finished in 48:26, followed by another strong performance from John Hay who finished in a time of 49:08. Chris Robson finished in 50:26, followed immediately by Colin Bostock who finished in 50:33. Damien Cowlishaw finished in 54.12, with Pete Fowles completing the course in 56:10. Currently Alan is 10th vet 45 male overall.
