EMXC2
On Sunday 25th November Long Eaton Running Club held its cross-country event. The weather was dry although a little on the windy side. The LERC men were out in force, to tackle the 3-lap 5.2-mile course. First man home for the club was Mark Greenwood who finished 2nd overall in a time of 30:04 followed closely by Andy Colegate in a time of 30:24, finishing 4th overall. Richard Wilkinson finished in 15th position in 32:56 followed by Luke Seamer in 33:04 and 16th position. Graham Whitt finished in 34:59 in 27th position, followed closely by Mario Rocchelli in 35:02 and 28th overall. Jaik Pickford completed the course in 35:06 and 30th, with Peter Thorburn finishing in 50:47.
With the majority of the girls helping to run the event, Jill Munro who completed the 2-lap 3.2-mile course in 28:49 finishing 34th overall represented the females on the day.
