November 5th not only saw fireworks but also 16 members of Long Eaton Running Club take part in the Holme Pierrepont cross country race, 3 Ladies and 13 men - with the Dovedale Dash also on the same day this was a very good turn out. Autumn sun and good ground saw Sparkling performances from the runners. Shaun Burton was a minute quicker than last years time with baby faced John Hay, Sean Gauton and the ever present Damian Cowlishaw completing the Long Eaton mens contingent.
