Many congrats Paddy - the sub 3 is a great place to get to (so I am told).

Huge applause for those setting PBs in their first marathons in very difficult conditions.

Amazing times for the men!! Sub 3hours .... Wow well done

Well done Nancy my partner you did fantastic

So pleased to have done it my first PB for a marathon but I'm over analysing my performance as always!

felt okay until 23 \ 24 miles boy it was hot, got jelly babies off supporters & legs felt so heavy

but pushed through to finish ....... Yay!

Massive well done & thanks for all your support & advice

I don't think I could ever have done such a massive challenge without joining such a great club!

Final times:

Andy McNeil 2.41.18

Paddy Fitz.2.56.06

Ian Chant 3.12.44

Eddie Mathieson 3.29.25

Rachel Woollard 4.36.19

Nancy Cooke 4.56.33

ANY OTHER LERCer's??

Seen Eddie at the start and then at mile 5 - he usually likes running when it's minus 5 so I suspect he might've struggled with the heat?

Fantastic performance by Andy Mc. 10th in his category!

Big congrats.to the girls not only for their charity raising endeavours but also for completing their first marathon =D> It was hot one!! Bet you're both still buzzing - will catch up to swap stories.

Could be wrong but the ballot might open tomorrow 19th April??

I didn't know Eddie was even running....lol he probably stayed sober this year as his time was slower than LAST YEAR!

Fantastic performances from the LERCers, well done everyone!!

Hope to see you all tomorrow night at the club, running or not !
