first half marathon - practice races??

Postby mattsalt » Mon Jun 29, 2009 10:16 am

Hi guys,

i have just entered for the robin hood half in september...!! EEK!

was hoping to do a couple of 10K then 10 mile races before the date to break down the training a bit...

does anyone know any good races coming up in the next few months that would fit the bill?

ta

Matt

Hi Matt,

If you haven't already follow this link to the summer league races,

http://www.longeatonrunningclub.com/leagues/summer09.php

quite a few on there to go at although no 10 milers. They seem to be few and far between these days. Good luck with the training.
my name is clive allison, i am not a girl......well only at weekends :-)
