Club Training - Thursday 12th September - 4.3 Miles and 7.7 Miles

Meet up in the cafe on the first floor from 6.45 for a 7.00 start of the run.
Please keep the reception area and doorways clear BEFORE AND AFTER the run.
It's time to dig that Hi-Viz stuff out. It will be getting dark toward the end of the run tonight.

To Wilsthorpe Tavern Pub roundabout – Right Dovedale Avenue and crossover – First left Milldale Road –
First left Kirkdale Road – First Right kirkdale Garden and alleyway – Crossover road and straight on alleyway
Left Lathkilldale Crescent and Alleyway and trough the tunnel – Crossover Road and straight ‘on’,Grosvenor
Avenue – Right Draycott Road – Left Plant Lane – Crossover road and take ‘Church’ Avenue alleyway Right
Tamworth Road – To the farm stile and path across the Trent golf course – Right Lock Lane – Crossover the
‘White’ bridge at Trent Lock – Left Erewash Canal all the way ‘Wade’ factory – Up the left embankment –
To the end and right path to crossover ‘Foot’ bridge(new) – Right embankment path – To Back of ‘Asda’ store –
Right Derby Road – Left King’s Street – Into the Park and back.

Option Two - 4.3 miles - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=7362920
Right onto Wilsthorpe Road and take path through allotments. At M1 bank, head left along footpath to M1 underpass. After passing under motorway, turn right and follow path to gate. Cross four fields diagonally to apex and then turn sharp left to follow field perimeter and leading to paralleling the rail line to bridge. Cross footbridge and follow footpath parallel to Draycott Road. Turn left onto Tamworth Road, left onto Wilsthorpe Road and return to WPLC.

Please buddy up with newer runners or those unfamiliar with the route.
