Kinder Trogg Fell Race

Hot dry conditions for two LERC runners made the Kinder Trog a sapping race. With stunning views towards Kinder plateau on the way out and then westwards from the race high point at Kinder summit, it was a fine day to be racing in the hills. With tired legs from racing in Wales the day before Wilkinson battled a bad patch along the edge of Kinder Scout to rally in the second half finishing 35th in 2h 19m 15s. The rapidly improving Amorri Vhis was disappointed to finish outside the top 50 in 58th but knocked 20 minutes off his course best
