Dave Weston's Wild Adventure - Sunday 1st November 2015

Postby lindseya » Mon Oct 19, 2015 9:58 am

The plan is to start at Lidl at 8am and we'll be aiming for around 14 miles to get us all ready for Seagrave the following week. There is no set route so we'll be making it up as we go along using Dave's OS map. This was great fun yesterday and made the route really interesting and different. The route was a mixture of canal paths, road and trail with the majority of it being trail. We came across lots of cows too but luckily we didn’t need to jump any hedges this week! I'm sure the run on the 1st will be very similar.

Please let us know if you plan to join us so we can wait for you. :-o All welcome.

Me, I'm extra slow at the mo but hopefully I'll survive!

Is it a trail shoe sort of route?

We did 60% trail & 40% canal path last time so hoping it might be similar this week?!

Thanks for organising this Dave, it was great. You and Duncan were a brilliant navigational team.
