Sunday 11th January

Postby Sheila » Wed Jan 07, 2015 10:21 am

I know a lot of people are running or marshalling XC but just in case anyone is available....

My plan says 12 miles, the 12 mile route will be the same as last week's 10 mile route but starting at WPLC at 7.45am. Sorry it's so early. Anyone wanting to do 10 miles can join at Bulls Head at 8.00am. Anyone wanting less than 10 can join at either of those start points and turn back when they've had enough.

Let me know if/when you're meeting so we don't go without you.
My name is not really Sheila, or Iris. It's just plain old Laura.

Hi Laura
I would like to run tomorrow but i am bored with that run.
I was thinking of running the erewash canal back on the Nottingham canal. Your thoughts?

Definitely for a future one Steph but we've got at least one person (maybe more) joining en route tomorrow.
How long is your route? I Can put it in my plan then.

It is 12 to 15 miles depending on where we turn off on the Erewash canal.

If you are looking for about 12 miles this one is from Sandiacre Lidl up the Erewash Canal and back down the Nottingham.

There are several other points you could go to to make the route longer if you have a look at the erewash trail guide then there are shortcuts on it that go from one canal to the other.
