Might be a change of plan and be having a reccy of a route for the nomad ultra which will be 14 miles from Chellaston to Dale Abbey?!

We are looking at offering a 50k version of the Nomad next year ...........

So if you'd like to join me Phil and anyone else, let me know

Meet 9am Chellaston and I can sort us getting back to cars?

Hi Charlie

This will be a bit of a reccy, the more opinion on the route the better so would be great and you won't be too slow! It will be long steady run!!!
Phil has not seen the intended plan of a reccy / responded if he is still in!

I have a route in mind will be looking to adjust it to do 15.25 miles ..... just to make you aware before you sign up (1 extra mile!)

Meet 9am Chellaston
George's Tradition
Unit 5 Royal Glen Park
West Chellaston Development
Chellaston
DE73 5XE

There is a car park here safe to leave cars.

If I'm awake in time I'll be there. just want miles, not pace.

Just trying to be helpful.
50K is about 31,25 miles.
Wilmot Wander is about 32 miles.
Long Eaton 50 (miler) covers much of the Wilmot Wander albeit clockwise whereas the WW goes anticlockwise.
WW route is here:

LE50 miler is here:

Shep. Now I do love a bit of Gorgonzola.

We considered that when we set out the original 50 mile course, but reckoned that the potential death toll at mile 22 made it not worth considering. Surprised that they are allowed to do it, wouldn't have thought that the police were too keen on it.
