Training Session 30th July - Short or long run

Usual club night at West park leisure centre, arriving from 6.45pm for announcements and run to set off for 7pm.

For those that raced last night, pick you pace and distance wisely!

OPTION 1 : 6.1 MILES

Across the park and exit onto Broad Street – Right Tamworth Road (Library) – crossover and left Lower Brook Road – Craig Street – Left Oakley's Road – To 'Tapper Harker' pub roundabout – Continue Straight 'on' crossing the railway lines (Main Street) – To mini roundabout – Right Meadow lane – Right Pasture Lane after crossing the railway lines – To the end and path to swing round to Cranfleet Lock no 4 – along the canal to Trent Lock (Steam boat pub) – Right Erewash Canal – Parallel along Tamworth road – Exit onto the road at the Fire Station(old) – Left Board street – Into the park and head back.

OPTION 2 : 7.8 MILES

Across the park and exit onto Broad Street – Right Tamworth Road (Library) – crossover and left Lower Brook Road – Craig Street – Left Oakley's Road – To 'Tapper Harker' pub roundabout – Continue Straight 'on' crossing the railway lines (Main Street) – To mini roundabout – Right Meadow lane – Right Pasture Lane after crossing the railway lines – Left 'iron' stile after the garden allotments – Path to the embankment/trees – Lef onto the enbankment and right diagonal path crossing metal sheet – Path along the railway lines – Crossover the bridge – Road to the 'Village' – Right Burton Lane – Right path to pass the house's – Path to Cranfleet Lock – To the 'white house' stile – Path round the Farm – Left underneath the bridge – Path round the 'Fish' pond – Diagonal path to Erewash canal – Right Erewash canal – To 'Pidcock' garage bridge – Left Fields Farm Road and back.
