Club Training - Thursday 5th September - 6.8 Miles and 4.4 Miles

Meet up in the cafe on the first floor from 6.45 for a 7.00 start of the run.

It's time to dig that Hi-Viz stuff out. It will be getting dark toward the end of the run tonight.

To Wilsthorpe Road island (Eaton Farm pub) – Straight ‘on’, Petersham Road – To the bend to Crossover – Left Longmoor Lane & under Motorway bridge –Right Stile and path across the ‘horse’ field -To Stile and straight ‘on’, Old Derby Canal path – To ‘Navigation’ pub – Path side of the pub – To Hopwell Road junction – Left Hopwell Road – To Draycott square to cross Main Street – Continue straight ahead along Market street and then left onto South Street. At the end of the road take right path between the houses. Left onto Wilne Road – First left path along the Embankment slope and then left onto the Coffin Walk. Cross Sawley Road and continue on Coffin Path. Cross railway bridge and continue across West Farm paths to Church View road. Head right onto Main Street and head back along Wilsthorpe Road toward Eaton Farm roundabout and back to WPLC.

Right to Wilsthorpe Road, continue to bend in Longmoor Road. Cross parkland diagonally and cross Bostocks Lane to pick up footpath. Follow footpath for 0.9 miles under bridge to Lock lane and turn right to cross bridge over canal. Turn right and follow canal for 1.5 miles to Lawrence Street turnoff (just before substation and Britannia Mill) Next right onto Milner Road. At T-junction turn right to footbridge and return through West Park.



Please buddy up with newer runners or those unfamiliar with the route.
