Club Training - 3 January 2019 - Out and Back challenge

We'll start the year off with a simple run to get us all back in to the swing of things (I know alot of you raced over the Christmas period but, let's face it, that cake and cheese has got to be sitting somewhere..!)

Meet up in the studio room to the left of reception at WPLC from 6.45pm. Run to start at 7.00pm.

[b]Out & Back Time Challenge[/b] [url][/url]

In rough paced / ability groups / pairs, just need a watch to run out for 25 minutes and turn to run back. (no popping into M&S !!)

The challenge is for the faster runners to catch up others and for the steadier runners to hold their pace and not let the faster runners catch them up on the return! (if you get to Nottingham the 25 minutes has passed)

This is for fun, if you want to run a shorter distance then do - run out for 2 miles and back as an example

The main point here is to finish the back quicker than the out, strong - otherwise known as negative splits.

To West Park shelter and path to ‘Yellow’ gate exit – Right Parkside Avenue – Right Derby Road – To L.E – Pass ‘Asda’ store, Nottingham Road – Pass ‘Manor House’ Pub – Pass McDonald's – Continue Straight on at the traffic lights – UNTIL 25 MINUTES are up then TURN AROUND and RUN BACK along the same route.
