Rucksacs

Postby Sheila » Tue Apr 24, 2012 8:56 pm

Can any of you experienced fell types tell me what size rucksac is sensible? It's for nine edges so has to have space for waterproofs, survival thingy and a metric fucktonne of Jelly Babies. I've seen a nice 10L one and an even nicer 12L one, will that be big enough?
My name is not really Sheila, or Iris. It's just plain old Laura.

If your waterproofs pack small enough, a 4L bum bag will do. Folk (including me) tend to fill the space they have so 10L would be more than adequate. I suggest you take your proposed kit for the day along to the shop and have a try before you buy.
Shep. Now I do love a bit of Gorgonzola.

Laura

I will bring my bumbag on Sunday morning so you can have a try if you want. I'll bring my rucksack as well. Although I've not got huge experience in using either of them from what I have used I prefer to run with the bum bag as there is less movement.

Take the 'C' from chips and what do you get?.....but they taste too good to care!
